Me and Mom.

Under a quilt.

Under a Quilt!

Don’t you remember it made the best fort?

From under the quilt I remember seeing lots of shoes, chairs, hands, and cousins! My grandmother with all her daughters would gathering around to quilt something special for a grandchild, a wedding, or someone they may never meet.

My mother was well acquainted with how hard traditional frames were on her hands. After thumbtacking the layers, pinning rows, adjusting wobbly c-clamps, or balancing it all on the backs of chairs, her hands were not as ready as her heart to sit down and quilt. She knew there had to be a better way. So, she set out to figure out how to eliminated all those cumbersome parts.

As her frames continued to improve, and her sisters gave her great reviews, she was off to patent and then promote her set at the State Fair and local billboards. And then sometime in the 80’s her son said, “Hey Mom, I think you’re going to need this new website name called, QuiltFrames.Com.”  And the rest is history.

Let our frames help you tell your stories.  ~ Camille
